The Tate acquired 287 works of art last year, including Untitled (Double Passage), 1991, by Felix Gonzalez-Torres, adding to its growing number of joint purchases, this time with the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York. The Tate’s American patrons and its Latin American acquisitions committee supported the purchase. The Tate’s share was £443,400.
