A local non-profit is looking into possible sites near Haulover Beach Park, one of the only clothing-optional beaches in Florida

A cheeky new museum is in the works near Miami Beach. The nudist non-profit Beaches Foundation is eyeing a spot near Haulover Beach Park for its museum and library, which aims to educate people about naturism (aka nudism) through exhibitions, lectures and “workshops”, according to a recent report by Axios Miami. The space will also house a historical archive of naturism in North America and serve as administrative offices for both Beaches and its sister organisation, South Florida Free Beaches.

As the Naturist Museum, Library and Institute joins the ranks of Miami Beach’s World Erotic Art Museum and the soon-to-open Museum of Sex in Miami, one wonders if this could be the only one of the three that will be clothing-optional for visitors.
