Julia Margaret Cameron's photograph of Déjatch Alámayou, the son of King Theodore who committed suicide after the British defeat of the Ethiopians at the battle of Magdala. He was taken to England where Queen Victoria saw to his education and protection. He was buried at Windsor Castle when he died of pleurisy aged 18. Wikimedia commons
