A conference on media art is due to be held at Tate Modern, London, from 18 to 20 November. Media in Transition, co-organised by the Tate, the Getty Conservation Institute and the Getty Research Institute, will focus on changing technology and its impact, the relationship between the artist, the work and the museum, conservation strategies and the legacy of these works, which are under constant pressure to change. The artists Susan Hiller, Runa Islam and Hito Steyerl will give keynote addresses.
