The painting features in the exhibition Love & Landscape: Stanley Spencer in Suffolk at Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury, which is in the heart of the eastern English county of Suffolk. Ben Luke speaks to Amy Lim, the co-curator of the exhibition, about the picture.
