Two of the world’s biggest fashion icons are getting their own shows in London. The model and fashion pioneer Naomi Campbell will be feted at a major exhibition due to open at the Victoria and Albert Museum next June. The show will feature not just fancy garments but also an installation designed by the outgoing Vogue UK editor Edward Enninful comprising photographs by Nick Knight and Tim Walker (watch this space).

Meanwhile, the Design Museum, just down the road from the V&A, will launch a new exhibition on the history of Barbie in July, exploring the story of the world’s most famous doll “through a design lens” on her 65th anniversary. Remember, it’s Barbie’s and Naomi’s world and we’re just living in it.
