The great artist at work: David Beckham creates Christmas-themed art using only his balls

Back of the net... Soccer supremo David Beckham bares his chest in his latest promo video plugging Haig Club whisky—which also features some art, by the way. Beckham recently took some flak after announcing his decision to be the face for the Qatar 2022 football World Cup. In another marketing move, Beckham is seen in an Instagram ad painting footballs in an earnest Picasso-esque way, proudly demonstrating his sporting prowess by kicking the balls on to a full-length blank sheet of paper (this is all done with his pecs on display—gratuitous, moi?).

The end result is a Christmas tree created from Beckham’s ball art which resembles the Crimbo design on Haig Club’s festive bottle (we especially like the final touch when the football star kicks a golden ball—GoldenBalls, gettit?—completing the tree piece). In his latest Insta post, Beckham says that “he really loved creating this Christmas bottle, such fun. Still trying to get this paint off me.” Any volunteers?
