In our latest look back at the 200 interviews we've done over the past two years, we focus on Artemisia Gentileschi with Letizia Treves from the National Gallery in London and Lavinia Fontana and Sofonisba Anguissola, among others, with Jordana Pomeroy, the director of the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University in Miami. We also discuss female composers of the Baroque period, who like those painters were written out of history, with the contemporary artist Helen Cammock—her current Whitechapel Gallery exhibition is in part a response to those composers.
