Did DiCaprio buy Warhol portrait?

Sources say that a 1980 painting of Georgia O’Keeffe by Andy Warhol, on sale at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac for $875,000, sold to the film star and collector Leonardo DiCaprio at the VIP preview. Ropac says he first placed the work in 1988 with a Swiss collector who called him last month saying he wanted to sell the piece, 30 years after the original deal. Warhol made six versions of the work after visiting the Modernist painter in New Mexico.
