Zeng Fanzhi: In the Studio

Hauser & Wirth, Savile Row (until 10 November)

Given the UK’s great tradition of portraiture, my exhibition in London is personally very significant as I’m presenting my paintings on this theme and in doing so will reveal my creative process.

Renzo Piano: the Art of Making Buildings

Royal Academy of Arts (until 20 January 2019)

Basel’s Fondation Beyeler, designed by Renzo Piano, is one of my favourite museums in the world. This is why I want to visit the Royal Academy’s exhibition of this great master architect.

Christian Marclay: The Clock

Tate Modern (until 20 January 2019)

Christian Marclay’s work left a deep impression on me when I first encountered it, so I am interested to see what he does with the Tate presentation.

Georg Baselitz, Blick aus dem Fenster [View out of the Window], 1982 Private Collection

Georg Baselitz: a Focus on the 1980s

Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac (until 10 November)

I’m looking forward to seeing Georg Baselitz’s works displayed in the gallery’s new London space, which I have yet to visit.

Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up

Victoria and Albert Museum (until 4 November)

I believe an entire exhibition can be a work of art. Most projects at the V&A—including, I believe, the Frida Kahlo show—are a testament to this.
