The World Monuments Fund (WMF) is looking for nominations for its biennial award that recognises efforts to preserve Modern architecture. Now in its tenth year, the international heritage preservation organisation’s Knoll Modernism Prize celebrates innovative solutions that save Modern buildings from neglect, demolition and “perceived obsolescence”. Previous winners include the restorations of a library in Russia designed by the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and a 1950s school in Japan that was damaged during a typhoon in 2004.
