A new book published by Aperture drains the colour from Martin Parr’s photographs—for you to fill in as you fancy. The Martin Parr Coloring Book! has 48 drawings by Jane Mount that outline Parr’s cheeky shots of beachgoers, questionable footwear and holiday culture. (A doubly cheeky photo shows showing the backside of a hairy man sporting a stars-and-stripes Speedo.) Parr himself will judge an online colouring contest of New Brighton, England, 1983-85 (#ParrColoringContest), with entries, due by 2 December, to be “coloured within the book pages only”. The lucky winner will get a signed print of New Brighton, England, 1983-85.
