The opening of Louvre Abu Dhabi is sure to increase the prominence of Abu Dhabi Art. The Art Newspaper speaks to the Saudi artist Manal Al Dowayan, commissioned by the fair to make a work in Al Ain oasis, as well as the UAE-based financier and collector Mohammed Afkhami and the fair’s director Dyala Nusseibeh to find out what the role of the fair has been up to this moment.
