In the podcast
- The Louvre Abu Dhabi finally opens this Saturday the 11th of November, ten years after the signing of the historic agreement between France and the UAE to create the Arab world’s first universal museum. Our chief contributing editor Gareth Harris spoke to the museum’s architect, Jean Nouvel, about this remarkable project.
- Opening today is Abu Dhabi Art, the leading cultural event in the emirate that includes an art fair, a raft of new commissions and installations, and a full programme of talks and events. We speak to Abu Dhabi Art’s new director Dyala Nusseibeh and the curator Tarek Abou El Fetouh, who has organised this year’s performance art programme.
