Crowdfunding campaign gets you dinner with an Icelandic troll in Venice

The Venice Biennale is in full swing, but if you're still waiting for an invite to one of the many prestigious dinners you might be in luck. Egill Sæbjörnsson, the artist representing Iceland, has started a crowdfunding campaign that allows you to buy an "invitation to an exclusive dinner with Egill Sæbjörnsson, Geza Schön, collectors and museum directors at the preview days of the Venice Biennale," for the princely sum of €1000. The money is used towards funding the production of a perfume, designed by Berlin-based Schön, that is part of the Icelandic pavilion's show. Pledging €30 will get you "extra good troll karma from Ugh and Boogar", the two are said to be the trolls-turned artists of this year’s Icelandic Pavilion.
