Spiders sell well at Frieze London

Tomás Saraceno is "well-known in the circle of arachnologists"

The thought of spiders makes most people’s skin crawl, but not at Frieze London, where three spider-web works by Tomás Saraceno sold at Esther Schipper’s stand for between €34,000 and €45,000. The Berlin-based artist has one of the world’s biggest collections of spider webs and is “well-known in the circle of arachnologists”, according to a spokesman for the gallery.
