Bloody Trump

Illma Gore made waves when eBay banned the US artist from selling her drawing of a nude Donald Trump on its website last month—and now the work is on sale at a London gallery for $1.3m. Make America Great Again, which depicts the presidential candidate with a minuscule member, is available through Maddox Gallery in Mayfair, and Gore says that she will donate the proceeds to the Safe Place for Youth charity. But she isn’t the only artist to vent her rage against the Trump machine. Oregon-based Sarah Levy painted this florid portrait of the billionaire businessman using her own menstrual blood and, she says, “a tampon and a paint brush”. Levy says: “The goal is to auction it off and give the money to an organisation that helps Mexican immigrants in the US, because ol’ Don would hate that.”
