Perrotin pursues huge space in a small place

The Art Newspaper understands that the French dealer Emmanuel Perrotin is moving ahead with plans to open a vast new gallery space in the Les Moulins cultural complex in the tiny village of Boissy-le-Châtel, around 60km east of Paris. A spokesman for Galleria Continua, an Italian gallery that runs two spaces in Les Moulins, says: “[There is] indeed an ongoing project, but nothing is finalised. If it happens, it will be terrific for Galleria Continua.” In late April, Perrotin—who already runs two galleries in the Marais neighbourhood of Paris, a space in Hong Kong and another in New York—will open a new 180 sq. m "office showroom" in Seoul. Regarding Les Moulins, he says: “We haven’t decided anything yet.”
