That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is getting into the holiday spirit with its second year hosting screenings of the holiday favourite A Charlie Brown Christmas—with a special twist. The Rob Schwimmer Trio, with vocals by the Choristers of the Church of the Heavenly Rest, will accompany the film’s catchy score live. There will be a sing-along with classic holiday tunes like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Deck the Halls after the flick—but it’s unlikely that all viewers will be able to resist chiming in with the chorus during the heartwarming film, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Screenings will be held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December and tickets (starting at $50 including service fees) are available on the Met’s website.
