Jenny Holzer’s majestic response Spotted at Wednesday’s VIP opening was Jenny Holzer, who is speaking at the fair with fellow artist Trevor Paglen today. With typical modesty, Holzer said that, for her, the fair is an “education for a senior citizen”. She also revealed a bit about her new commission for the US Embassy in London: the quotations chosen by US and UK students to be set in stone will include one by the Queen about freedom. When asked: “Which queen?”, Holzer replied: “I don’t have a Queen.”
