Everyone knows that good art and good food are the most important things in life—which is why aesthetic foodies should head to Bonhams restaurant in London, which has been awarded a Michelin star under head chef, Tom Kemble. The 25-cover restaurant—open for lunch weekdays between 12.30 and 14.30—is housed in the auction house’s swanky Mayfair building designed by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. “This is the first star ever awarded to a restaurant in an auction house,” stresses a press statement. Kemble, meanwhile, has arty credentials, having obtained a degree from the University of Nottingham in art history.
