Readers will no doubt be keen to hear the latest in the saga of “Scary Lucy”, as the artist Dave Poulin’s terrifying statue of Lucille Ball is known. Scott Schrecengost, the mayor of Celoron in New York state, wants another artist to rework the sculpture in the late funnywoman’s hometown, but is also in discussions about giving it to the Lucy Desi Center for Comedy in neighbouring Jamestown, according to the local radio station WRFA.
