Malevich reigns supreme in London exhibitions

As London succumbs to Malevich fever with the opening of “Malevich: Revolutionary of Russian Art” at Tate Modern (16 July-26 October), “Report from the Exhibition” at Kate MacGarry (until 12 July) juxtaposes ten photographs by Eustachy Kossakowski from Malevich’s first retrospective at the Stedelijk Museum in 1989, with three mirror works by Goshka Macuga. The photographs were first shown at Hotel Polonia, Warsaw, in 2010, in the same room that Malevich showed his work in 1927.
