A conference on the authentication of works of art and fighting forgery through the courts is being organised by the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation (19-21 June).

A subject close to the heart of Dalí collectors, dealers and the general secretary of the Dalí foundation, Luís Peñuelas, will be the authentication of editions of sculpture and works on paper, with Judith Goldman, a member of the Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board, among the speakers. The conference, in Catalonia close to Dalí’s summer home and museum, is sponsored by the Prosegur Foundation and the municipality of Girona, in association with the law firm Roca Junyent Associates.
