MoMA director Glenn Lowry casts his expert eye over Miami

As Art Basel looms large, Lowry weighs in on the best the region has to offer, citing the Bass Museum's "Creative Caribbean Network"

Glenn Lowry (above), director of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, visited the Bass Museum’s exhibition “Creative Caribbean Network” (until 6 March), finding: “The work that made the most impression on me in Miami was Isaac Julien’s Ten Thousand Waves [top]. It is a profoundly moving installation that takes his work to a new level of narrative complexity and visual impact. I cannot get this work out of my mind.”
