A cast of Giacometti’s Grande Tête Mince, 1954 (pictured), the work that sold for $53.2m at Christie’s last year, is on show in New York as part of Eykyn Maclean’s inaugural exhibition, which comprises almost 100 works from the family of Silvio Berthoud, Giacometti’s nephew (until 18 December). “The opportunity to show so many Giacometti works…was too good to miss,” said Nicholas Maclean.
