Art Parcours, the new Art Basel performance/installation strand, launched last night to an invited crowd. Some of those slithering down Basel’s steep, rain-soaked cobbles might have felt there was more “parcours” (the sport of running along the most direct route using only environmental objects for assistance) in the experience than they might have expected. Still, those that braved the downpour got to see installations like this one, by Angela Bulloch, in Basel’s magnificent cathedral, or Nathalie Djurberg’s creepy videos in the Natural History Museum stores.
