Roman de la Calle, the director of the Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración (Museum of Enlightenment) in Valencia, has resigned after a row with politicians over images he refused to take down. They showed politicians implicated in a corruption scandal. A 500-strong demonstration gathered at the museum under the slogans, “We are Roman”, and “Culture without censorship”.
