Billed as the world’s first art fair devoted to all types of interdisciplinary new media art, including kinetic, robotic, animatronic, and light-, sound- and time-based work, the new Kinetica fair makes its debut this month (28 February-2 March). Directed by Diana Harris, co-founder of the Kinetica Museum, the event will celebrate the convergence of art and technology. More than 30 galleries will participate in the fair, held at the P3 space in Westminster University’s former concrete construction hall. Artists exhibiting include Tim Lewis, who creates automated sculptures such as the disturbingly elegant Pony, 2008 (pictured above).
