Phillips de Pury is adding to the Frieze week sales frenzy by running four back-to-back contemporary auctions on Saturday 13 October, having secured additional works worth a possible £13.5m ($27m) from private collections.

First on the block at 1pm will be 138 lots from the collection of Marino Golinelli, an Italian genetic researcher and philanthropist. Highlights include an untitled, 2003 alabaster piece by Anish Kapoor (est £400,000-£600,000) and Gilbert & George’s Piss on Piss, 1996 (est £100,000-£150,000).

Other consignments include 65 works from the collection of the New York dealer John Stewart, one of the largest concentrations of modern and contemporary Russian art. This includes a selection of works by Dubossarsky & Vinogradov such as Younger Brother, 1996 (est £30,000-£40,000).

The final sale of the evening, scheduled for 7pm, focuses on Chinese art with 44 works consigned by collectors and art consultants Howard and Patricia Farber of New York and Miami Beach. These include Wang Guangyi’s Mao AO triptych, 1988 (est £500,000-£700,000). After that—and around seven hours later—Phillips is hosting a party to celebrate its newly refurbished European headquarters in London before they officially open the salesroom in Victoria early next year.
