Hauser & Wirth has opened a large new project space in a 25,000 sq. ft industrial building in the East End of London. The Coppermill building was constructed on the site of a Huguenot weaver’s house that was bombed in World War II, and still houses the Ratzger family business, which holds a Royal warrant for supplying cleaning cloths to the Queen’s household and provided fine napiery and tablecloths for Concorde. The first show (until 27 June) is of work by Dieter Roth and Martin Kippenberger.
