Iran and France have signed an agreement to cooperate in archaeological projects. The two countries will work together in such areas as conservation, excavations, and the organisation of exhibitions. French experts will also offer educational and training courses to their Iranian colleagues. The accord was signed in December by Iran’s Head of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Hossein Marashi, and the French Minister of State for French Development and Francophony, Xavier Darcos.
