V&A Publications have announced the launch of a new series of books on contemporary design called “V&A Contemporary” that will be concerned with design in fashion, graphics, photography, craft, architecture, and commercial products. Each book is a 130-page-long paperback with about 100 colour illustrations, and costs £14.95. The first two titles in the series are Electric dreams: designing for the digital age by David Redhead, and Brilliant: lights and lighting, which accompanies the exhibition (until 25 April) of the same title at the Victoria and Albert Museum, written by Jane Pavitt, Senior Research Fellow at the institution.
