13 May-7 September. This show, originally scheduled to open in New York last year, has been organised by the Guggenheim Foundation and the Menil Foundation in Houston and travels from the Deutsche Guggenheim Berlin. It moves to Houston in October. On view are some 120 paintings, drawings, and objects that focus on the defining moment of the artist’s career when he embraced abstract art before World War I.
